Walter Richard Sickert (1860-1942) was a German born, British painter and print maker.  He was an influential painter on the avant garde of the late 19th and early 20th Century art scene in the UK.  He was a member of the Camden Town Group and a supporter of the East London Group of artists.  He travelled and lived in France and Italy and acquired a huge following of artists and the public alike.  This drawing is very much in the Sickert manner, initialled.
