This edition of the Monumental Thinker owes its existence to two critical factors:

· The exceptional condition of an authenticated plaster, acknowledged by the Musée Rodin.

· The unparalleled expertise of the prestigious and highly regarded Valsuani Foundry, which remains one of the few capable of mastering the lost wax casting method on such a monumental scale.

The plaster that served as the basis for this edition of the Monumental Thinker originates from the former Rudier foundry and was passed down through the hands of the renowned ceramist Jean Mayodon the sole executor of the Rudier Estate.

The edition of the Monumental Thinker is  approved by the Rodin Museum with a Letter signed by the Assistant Currator of the Museum Stephanie LE FOLLIC.
