Guillaume van Bomberghen (born in 1807 in Antwerp - died in 1882 in Brussels) is a Belgian painter.
Van Bomberghen studied at the Academy of Antwerp, continuing his studies in Paris, from where he sent miniatures to exhibitions in Belgium.
In 1834 he returned to Antwerp and devoted himself to life-size portrait painting.
From 1840 his work devoted exclusively to the landscape, where the emphasis was on landscapes by moonlight.
In 1854 he sent symbolic paintings to the Paris exhibition, but later he no longer participated in exhibitions.
The Leipzig Museum preserves a moonlit landscape (painted in 1850) donated by the author.
