Chleuhs are an ethnic group from southern Morocco. Of Berber origin, they live in the High Atlas, the Anti-Atlas and the Souss Valley, to Guelmim, door of the Sahara. Guelmim, also Gulimine, is a city in southern Morocco, often called Gateway to the Desert. Guelmim is located just north of Asrir, which was the site of an important trade-route city and the capital of the Saharan tribes.
