Comments: Came to America in 1749, settling in York, PA by 1756. A clockmaker by trade and an amateur wood-carver and printer. It is speculated that he was likely the Fisher" whose portrait of the Rev. Jacob Goering (1755-1807) of York was engraved by William Wagner (also of York, see entry) in the 1820s or 1830s.
