Comments: From London, active in Philadelphia before and after the Revolution (until c. 1783). Edward ran a successful wood-carving shop in Philadelphia, and in c. 1771 William Rush (see entry) joined the shop as an apprentice, serving as Cutbush's assistant until about 1775 when Rush opened his own shop.
