Comments: Born 1857 or 1862, he came to the U.S. in 1884. Became a citizen in 1890 and decorated churches along the Gulf coast as well as Chicago and New Orleans. He also exhibited portraits, landscapes, still lifes and miniatures. He carved in wood and did plaster sculptures. Not to be confused with Achille Perelli (see entry), also a New Orleans artist.
