This photographic work belongs to the series "Uña y carne". Paco Peregrín approaches the creative manicure as an allegory of vanities and earthly pleasures. In the manner of vanitas, exuberant nails and high jewellery reinforce the symbolism of power and wealth. The contrast between the figures is organised in studied graphic compositions full of strength, making us participants in the sensual games and actions proposed by this suggestive mise-en-scène.
