It is inspired by the myth of Narcissus from Greek mythology, a man as beautiful as a god who fell into disgrace when he fell in love with his own reflection. The artist has recreated the perfection of Narcissus, further enhanced by the colours of Dior cosmetics. This photographic series is also a reflection on the representation of masculinity today, using make-up (a traditionally feminine element) as a way of expressing the opposition of traditional values associated with the male figure.
