Work and Life
Andrea Benetti is an Italian painter, photographer and designer. He presented the “Manifesto of Neo-Cave Art” at the 53rd Venice Biennale. His poetics are substantiated by a direct reference to the first artistic forms produced by man. His works are present in many collections and museums around the world. He has collaborated to the realization of projects with various universities, including the Johns Hopkins University, the Universities of Bologna, Ferrara, Roma Tre, Lecce, Bergamo, Bari. These universities have carried out research on his art. In 2020 he won the Nettuno d’Oro, an important award born in 1970.
