AHAF (Asia Hotel Art Fair) is Korea’s first and largest premium hotel art fair, set apart by various thematic events in the nation’s finest hotels such as Shilla, Hyatt, and Chosun. To maintain the premium status of our hotel art fair, this event is conducted “by invitation only.”
Following the success of AHAF SEOUL 2014, which took place in the main branch of Lotte Hotel at Sogong-dong upon collaboration with Lotte Department Store, this year’s AHAF SEOUL 2015 is set to open in Yeouido Conrad Seoul from August 21st (Friday) to 23rd (Sunday) with enthusiastic backing and promotional support from Conrad Hotel. Conrad Seoul, one of the twenty-two branches of the Hilton Worldwide global luxury brand, is situated in the heart of the financial district.
Asides from the main exhibition space in the hotel rooms from 14th to 16th floors (approximately fifty rooms in total), we will provide a white cube space by constructing white walls on the entire 6th floor Studio Lounge for a more diverse art exhibition this year. The 6th floor will feature eleven studios and a VIP Lounge to bring out the best of a unique premium art fair with selective contents such as collaborations between art and luxury brands, and masterpiece showcases. On August 21st (Friday) and 22nd (Saturday) we will also host VIP Cocktail Parties together with Jazz concerts on the 6th floor to encourage communication and exchange among art lovers.
The VIPs of AHAF SEOUL 2015 consist of major figures of the financial sector such as Hana, Kookmin, and Woori Banks, as well as important collectors and friends of AHAF Hong Kong from Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Japan, and Korea’s major arts figures and collectors.
