Art Stage Singapore: round two!

The second edition of Art Stage Singapore opens on 12 January 2012. For three days (last day: 15 January) a hand-picked selection of 132 galleries and more than 50 special projects and curated exhibitions will be exhibiting their works at the Marina Bay Sands Convention and Exhibition Centre.

This Singapore art fair is rapidly gaining visibility on the global Contemporary art fair circuit with a highly demanding selection of the best Contemporary art galleries in the entire Asia Pacific zone, mainly from Tokyo, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Beijing. In addition, its deliberate ambition to act as bridge between Oriental and Western culture is confirmed by the presence of several major European galleries including Emmanuel Perrotin from Paris and the White Cube from London.

Among the artists exhibited there will be Agus Suwage (Indonesia), Ai Weiwei (China), Chiharu Shiota (Japan), Do-Ho Suh (South Korea/USA), I Nyoman Masriadi (Indonesia), Jitish Kallat (India), Lee Bul (South Korea), MR. (Japan), Sui Jianguo (China), Yoshitomo Nara (Japan), Zhang Huan (China), but also Damien Hirst (UK), Annie Leibovitz (USA), Bernar Venet (France) and Neo Rauch (Germany).
